These rules apply to all players on every Rusty Chicken server. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. Play fair, be decent.

Admins and moderators reserve the right to issue punishments at their discretion based on severity and context. Repeat offences escalate to harsher penalties. VIP status does not exempt you from any rule.
Zero Tolerance
1.Cheating, hacking, or using any software that provides an unfair advantage (aimbot, ESP, no-recoil scripts, etc.)PERM BAN
2.Racism, hate speech, slurs, or content targeting someone's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexualityPERM BAN
3.Ban evasion — rejoining on an alternate Steam account after receiving a banPERM BAN
4.Threatening real-life harm, doxxing, or sharing private personal information about any playerPERM BAN
5.DDoS attacks or threats against players, the server, or Rusty Chicken infrastructurePERM BAN
Conduct & Chat
1.Excessive harassment, targeted toxicity, or repeated abuse towards another playerTEMP BAN
2.Spam or flooding chat, voice chat, or sign messagesWARNING
3.Advertising other Rust servers, Discord servers, or communities in chatKICK
4.Impersonating an admin, moderator, or Rusty Chicken staff memberTEMP BAN

Exploits & Bugs
1.Exploiting game bugs to gain access to bases, loot, or areas you should not be able to reachTEMP BAN
2.Building or placing objects inside rocks, terrain, or out-of-bounds areasTEMP BAN
3.Duplication glitches or any method of obtaining items/resources outside normal gameplayPERM BAN
4.Knowingly exploiting a bug and failing to report it to staffWARNING
Base Building
1.Building in a way that blocks access to monuments, roads, or critical map areas for all playersWARNING
2.Placing tool cupboards, traps, or turrets on another player's base without authorisation (external TC griefing)WARNING
3.Intentionally sealing loot rooms or exits after raiding to grief the ownersWARNING
4.Spam-building foundations, walls, or structures with the intent to lag or grief the serverKICK
Raiding & PvP
1.Raiding is a core part of Rust — it is permitted unless the server is specifically labelled no-raid or PvE.
2.Camping in or around spawn areas to kill fresh spawns repeatedly for extended periods is considered spawn camping and may result in a kick.
3.Intentionally crashing client connections or exploiting network issues to gain a combat advantage is not permitted.TEMP BAN
4.Teaming with players beyond the server-specified group limit (check server description for current limits).WARNING
5.Cross-teaming (allying outside your group limit during PvP events, monuments, or raids) is not permitted on group-limited servers.WARNING
6.Deliberately prolonged harassment of a single player or group across multiple days with the sole intent of forcing them offline is considered targeted griefing.WARNING
Admin & Staff
1.Admin decisions are final. Disputes should be raised via the Discord or Support page, not by arguing in chat.
2.Admins do not spawn items, teleport players, or interfere in gameplay except to enforce rules.
3.If you suspect an admin is abusing their position, report it via our Support page.
4.Verbal abuse or disrespect directed at staff members results in an escalated punishment.TEMP BAN
VIP Players
1.VIP status does not exempt you from any rule. All rules apply equally.
2.VIP benefits (queue skip, extra kits, etc.) are personal and may not be shared or sold to others.
3.Abusing VIP perks to harass other players will result in VIP revocation without refund.
4.A permanent ban results in forfeiture of your VIP membership with no refund — see our Terms & Conditions.

Report In-Game
Press F7 while in-game to open the Rust report menu. Select the offending player and describe the issue. Our moderation team reviews all F7 reports.
Submit a Ticket
For ban appeals, admin complaints, or issues that need detailed review, use our Support page. Include the player's Steam profile link and any evidence (screenshots, video).
